How can you tell if your internal search engine is working for you?
There are indicators I look at to give me a clue about the relative health of a site’s internal search engine. I generally favor using humor when looking for something that’s not working. It seems to go over better for everybody. You know what I mean? So, along those lines, in your mind picture Steve Foxworthy repeating his comedy line, “You know you might be a Redneck if…” Now read the following statement:

Okay. If you don’t have a clue who Steve Foxworthy is or his great lines, then you might be a bit lost. Don’t worry. The point is that there are ways to consider whether your site search is working well for you or whether you might need to do some tweaking.
